From what you’ve said here and other reviews I’ve read it would appear that the platinum membership is well worth the extra money. It amounts to only an extra $2 a day yet you get so much more value for the money. The ability to interact in the community is the biggest bonus and cannot be overstated. By learning from other’s mistakes and getting a more objective viewpoint on your trades and charts you will become a better trader and ultimately make more money more quickly. Add in the ability to personally interact with Peter Worden in chat and the upgrade is a no-brainer.

Now that I read this comparison I am not sure which version of Worden I tried, but the one I did use I didn’t like. It always seemed like it fell short and failed me at some point. I can’t believe that a simple upgrade would change things much since the basic platform setting of Worden is what I have a problem with.

The extra chat option and all that aren’t really necessary, but they would be nice to have when I need help with something. The commentary and news feeds I can get on my own for free though so that really doesn’t matter.

So it seems that the only real tracking benefit the Platinum has over the Gold is the real time feature. The other stuff; chats, news and commentary, club meetings etc. won't necessarily improve the tracking.

I think I will try the trial for Worden Telechart Gold and see how that goes for a month before I make any decisions, but I really don't see the point in paying and extra $60 for the ability to chat.

I have heard though that Telechart is perfect for keeping track of past sales in order to improve future sales. Have you found the software beneficial for this at all and what should I be watching for?

Hi Andy,
This software just tracks stocks. I believe IG index actually lets you trade currency leveraged. So you could in theory do the same thing with Worden Telechart Platinum, and a brokerage firm that lets you trade on a margin. Thanks for the ?

A great post on the benefits of Telechart 2007. I personally use platinum and think it's worth every panny.
