While this product might not be suited for more serious investors, I do think it has some redeeming qualities that almost every investor could find useful. I’m specifically talking about the indicator-wizard. In my experience there are very few programs available which will allow you to create and monitor your own technical indicators, and the fact that the Wealth-Lab Developer is one of them is a telling sign of usefulness. For some traders the standard indicators that everyone else is using just don’t cut it and often times do more harm than good because everyone can see what’s coming around the corner.

I like the chart developer the most in this program. With Wealth Lab I can take any charts and tweak it so that it is something entirely different or just a little better than when we started out. The preset types are enough for anyone, but I always like to mess around with things and see how I can improve upon the results that I am getting already. I have found a couple combinations that have helped me trade smarter and faster than I have with any other software. I also like that there is a portfolio simulation included with the program because it gives me a good point of reference when I need it.

I started using this program in business school because it was the software that was recommended by my professor.

This software revie of Wealth Lab brought my attention to a couple features that I wasn't already familiar with and will now have to check that out. The ability to test with various portfolios is one of the features that I don't have on the original software I bought and want to try out now. I can't see how the risk management on tested portfolios would be assumed against the current market though.

I think it might be time to upgrade already, great review because I was actually looking for another program that could offer more but that was when I didn't realize there were so many other features added.
