31AUG10 I have been with Qcharts for over ten years and have complained more in the last three months than the last ten years combined. Every week the list gets longer on what is breaking down with Qcharts. Support staff are about as useful as sh*t on a stick. These guys can't even maintain what they sell. I tried their Esignal counterpart as a possible alternative and they offered a 30 day free trail and it turned out they were even worse and during the 30 day free trail they rang up my credit card for over $630 in monthly membership fees (not including the exchanges I agreed to pay for)and the only way I could get them to repay me back my money was to threaten to sue. Very, very disappointed in these clown.

I’ll never understand why someone would spend so much time developing such a useful platform as Q Chart and then completely waste the opportunity to capitalize on it by refusing to offer any meaningful support team. Having to seek out help at a Yahoo group is pretty pathetic, if you ask me. Don’t the proprietors of this system realize that they could charge double and make a ton more if they simply set up a basic help desk system? And the fact that it can occasionally crash your computer is not exactly encouraging, either. That’s all I need as my trade is tanking and I need to exit a position.

Qcharts has a lot it needs to work on still, but when it works it works. This review talks about frequent crashing and I guess I have been lucky in this regard. My program has only crashed on me twice, thankfully, but it does stall pretty often when things get hairy.

When you are in the moment and need to get trades out fast and at a steady pace, you can’t have the software stalling on you. And honestly, it isn’t the best software in the world anyway, so as soon as I found something better.

This is probably one of the most honest Q Chart reviews I have read. It took me a long time to warm up to this software, but when I finally did I came to rely on many of the features. I can't do without the multiple windows option anymore and so many other software programs leave that out.

Yes, it has its bugs/problems but there is some good work here and it is a very capable program all around.
