NinjaTrader provides industry leading solutions for active traders, automated trading, third party developers and brokers. There is equal wieghtage given to all of them. It is s recognized as the industry benchmark for order entry and trade management. Ninja trader has excelled in area of trade management with its innovative Advanced Trade Management (ATM) technology. The technology helps the users protect their interests and positions through pre defined strategies which one can create and which semi-automates stop loss and profit target brackets on order entry. NinjaTrader is an end to end stock investing platform with the inclusion of their highly extensible automated strategy development capabilities. There is provision to develop your own strategy and simulate it, optimize it and then deploy it live through your account.
Some of the key features of Ninja trader are that it is a free end to end trading platform, Fully functional in nature, has free data feed options, provides free educational services and most important of them all saves hundreds of dollars per month. It allows free access to very powerful features like Multiple order entry screens, advanced Charting with Order Entry, advanced trade management, powerful Real-time market scanning, trading system development & backtesting, automated trading, trade performance analysis simulation and market replay, additional analytics.
The educational services include media rich documentation, daily online interactive product training sessions, weekly trading education webinars. Ninja charts are going wonderful. The things which are impossible to code in other platforms can be easily coded here. If one uses it with sing it with ZenFire then it is very fast. There are few bugs in the new version but nothing serious enough. It is also very, very efficient as far as utilization of system resources goes. No where else can you find such a comprehensive end to end system development and automation platform. The customer service is also excellent. In the end to summarize , it is fast, reliable and flexible and can do whatever one can really ask for. The new version Ninja trader 6 is out and all raring to take the world by storm. Honestly there is no free match to it.

This just adds to the credibility of NinjaTrader as a professional charting platform.
I kind of feel like Ninja Trader takes control when I use it, but I don’t mind letting it take over to a degree. The program is really able to let me figure out what is going on and backtest. I like that I am able to customize the charts so that I can see what I want to know and forget about the rest because not everything applies to my situation.
It is not the easiest program to use with other software though and I like to have a couple other programs running for various reasons. So, I use Ninja Trader as a secondary option– but it will do fine as a primary option if that is all you have.
I think Ninja has improved a lot since this article was written. Ninja 7 will be out RSN ( Real Soon Now )
This is a great tool! trades both futures and forex while it allows you to choose your own data feed.
Ninjatrader is giving Great support to brokers.

Heard you can’t trade options with Ninja Trader …. Is that true?
There is a trick in NINJATRADER which allows LIVE trading without licensing. All features including ATM strategies,

I think it’s important for everybody to remember that Ninjatrader offers online product training sessions several times per week so there’s no really no excuse for not understanding how to use it to the maximum of its potential. Too many people try these kinds of programs and then give up without ever fully trying out all this is possible, but with this kind of hands-on training it can really help you to get more out of the program. You can even ask questions of the instructors during these sessions which will probably not only help you to understand Ninjatrader but will also enhance your overall trading skillset.
we are having a terrible time with ninja freezing up! it must happen 30 times per day. Btwn the internet people, the comupter guy and ninja – everyone points their finger at the others. It happens at all times but espec iallywhenthe volume picks up and the futures market is “running” up or down at a rapid pace. Is anyone else having this problem?
