You had me at “free”. It is remarkable just how many benefits Medved provides considering the fact that it can be had for no charge. It’s truly a must-have. The live intra-day charts feature alone would usually require some sort of subscription fee but not in this case. I also like that you can have alerts emailed to you every evening because there are some days when I simply cannot watch the market on a consistent basis and rely more on after-hours summaries and analysis. Then I can prepare and make intelligent plans for the next day of trading stocks.

Medved software basically comes with the territory and it is what most new traders are introduced to when they first begin trading. It is one of the easiest software programs to start with because you can pick it up very quickly and follow along when someone else is trading without getting lost. I spent a good day watching trades and recognizing indicators before I was let loose and I think that really helps out a lot.

Some of the functions on Medved are really essential, but I think there is a lot of baggage that could be gotten rid of and open a lot of space for other tools.

I have been desperately searching for a program to use that easily combines all my RSS feeds of various sites with my portfolios. I think this is the answer.

I love that I can add all the sites that I flip back and forth between on one page. Up till now I have been using a variety of public websites to try and bring the feeds together, but none of them work the way I need them too. Also, none of them are designed for trading.

I think I will try the free version of Medved that is mentioned in this software review and then purchase the complete software. So surprised I haven't heard of this little gem yet.
