MBT Navigator Review

MBT navigator is one of the latest products offered by MB trading company. It provides the traders to create their own strategies and there own systems o fit the way they work best. This is a very efficient method as trading styles differ from person to person and what one need is software that can fit in any style and adapt to any situations. This is what MBT navigator has been able to achieve. Traders can choose to set up and see only MBT navigator order entry window and also has the option of customizing it to add all significant personal and market data windows. Trade can be executed at a click of a button making the system fast and efficient.

At present MBT navigator is the only Order Management System (OMS) that integrates seamlessly into eSignal, QCharts, DTN.iQ, and Cron SW Pro. The traders can multitask so as to take less time to complete their tasks. They can simultaneously place orders, view account information and watch quotes and charts on one screen. MBT navigator provides trader with free Level I 4/4 quotes. It includes level 1 3/4 includes INET and ARCA ECN book quotes,  NYSE and AMEX regional quotes  and  National Best Bid/Offer (NAS). It is the first software which has implemented this and that too in a cost effective manner. Most of the other dealers offer level I quotes, this is somewhat less common. It is one of kind high-end technology product that encompasses fast executions, unparalleled low dost commissions and above all superior customer service. It is very easy to use. All of the main functions of the Navigator can be accessed through the links on this bar.

There are status lights on the screen displaying the status of the connectivity to the servers. The Level II window displays best bid/ask data and market depth via the multi-colored assortment. The best price is available at the top of each section. To display the Level II data for a particular currency pair, the trader just have to type the currency pair symbol in the text field. The window also displays account balances. It is swift and straightforward way to track the progress of your trades during the day. The account value is updated in real time and gross commissions are charged every time one places an order. Orders can be placed from the Order Entry panel. One can remove the Order Entry section from the bottom of the watchlist and positions window, but not the FX Board or Level II windows. Orders once given can also be cancelled and new order can be placed.

MBT Navigator is a efficient program, but sometimes the broker’s servers go down when market volume surges, which makes it unreliable at times. Sometimes there is a problem of login failure and some day complaints about balances going wrong arise. There are no software platforms fees and this makes it a bit cheap from others. Despite all the shortcomings it is still a great tool that promises lot in future.

MBT is fully legit, and I’d rank them right up there with the best software and trading solutions. They’ve won a whole slew of awards for their products, and have been recognized by such industry biggies as Barron’s and Stocks and Commodities Magazine. The Navigator software, in particular, has drawn rave reviews from industry observers and traders alike, and is known for its ability to execute trades at lighting speed. It also comes with close to 100 built-in tactics and strategies to help you find lucrative trades quickly and on the fly. Anybody who hasn’t tried this package out yet needs to have their head examined.

MB Trading is my broker of preference. They don’t mess with your orders at all; fills are fast; they could care less if you scalp or hold overnight. As a bonus, the MBT University is terrific for teaching you about the platform and much more.
