Investor/RT is a toolkit, which helps a trader do things like powerful market monitoring, data capture, charting, technical analysis, scanning, backtesting, and portfolio management features. It can be done for a wide variety of real-time, delayed, and end-of-day market data services. Investor/RT is like cross platform stock investing software. It runs on all kinds of windows which include 98, 2000 and XP as well as NT and Power Macintosh platforms. It works equally fine on all the windows, the graphical interface and product functionality are the same. Investor/RT constantly monitors and analyzes any security type transmitted by the trader’s data vendor, in any timeframe.

It also has a option of multi profile. All this can be done through chart wizard. Chart wizard is a chart setup assistant that can create multiple chart displays from the list of instruments present in a quote page. The chart wizard has a menu of all available quote pages. The other features available in Investor/RT are setup preferences which include alarms and traditional charts. Alarms are very useful to a trader as they keep him aware of every move in the market. There can also be customized alarms suited to the needs of the trader. It also has an option of backup alarms which is absent in other trading softwares. Investor/RT also provides an option of technical indicators. Technical indicators include fischer transforms, gann angles, gimelfarb bull and bear balance chart, indicator weighted average, indicator adjusted average and many more. There is a whole set of new features in the new version like presets candle codes, technical indicator adjustment, customized internet links, NASDAQ level II, Raw Tick Charts. There are in fact more than 50 plus new feature added and the number is going up with every improvement.
The entire feature is easy to use and readily understood. Charts are very readable and extremely configurable. Creating your own indicators is also very easy. There are a few problems in data handling as it is complicated in this stock market software. Its database management also gives trouble now and then. The product is cheap. One can get it the professional package for $59 per month and the pro complete package can be obtained for $99 per month. The flexibility in periodicities to be excellent and the realtime data is updated before your very eyes (tick by tick). This program is well worth your time.
