I checked out Blackwood pretty extensively and though there is much to like with their setup it is definitely geared more towards hedge funds and institutional traders in my opinion. The features and characteristics are just more focused on direct access ordering and large basket orders. This in itself isn’t so bad but I’m not sure I want to give any more “help” to the big boys than necessary. They’ve already taken enough of my money. These guys push the market around like it’s nobody’s business and it often times leaves the little guy high and dry. Either you follow them or get squashed, especially when it come to high-volume behemoths in the DOW.
